Hartley Mews are 2 modern, elegant, 6 sleeper, self-catering units, situated in the heart of Overport, bordering on Ridge Road. Each unit has its own entrance, and air-conditioning in each room. The kitchen is tastefully fitted with porcelain tiles, fridge, stove, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second room has two single beds and there is a sleeper couch in the lounge. There is 24 hour security on the premises and ample parking is provided behind closed gates. Hartley Mews is in close proximity to hospitals, with Parklands Hospital on our doorstep, mosque, shopping centres, restaurants, bakeries and butcher shops. The city centre and beaches are a mere 3 kilometres away where one would find the infamous Moses Mabida Stadium, Ushaka Marine World and Umgeni Bird Park.

"We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The owner was so nice in welcoming us when we arrived. The place was spotlessly clean and tidy. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Even the bed was so cozy. It was peaceful and quiet. The surrounding atmosphere was lovely and what I also liked is that everything was central to where we needed to be. The service was good and I'd go back again."

"This place was incredibly up market. The place itself was modernly fancy. Not to mention the rooms which was beautifully styled. It was spacious and super comfortable. We didn't need to use anything of our own that we had brought along because everything was provided. I must say well catered for and well thought of. There was a security guard available day and night so we felt secure at all times. The host was really friendly and helpful. He even came around to introduce himself and to say hello. The atmosphere was just relaxing. It was peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, and I would love to come back again. "

"We booked the unit for a visiting scholar. She was extremely happy with her stay. The odd hiccup, but no stay anywhere is without a hiccup. The flats are very well maintained, and Yunus is extremely helpful and goes the extra mile. I recommend Hartley Mews to anyone who needs a place to stay."

"I really enjoyed this place, because it was self catering. I enjoy making my own food. Especially when one gets hungry or thirsty. I loved that it was incredibly spacious. We didn't feel cramped or restricted where space was concerned. It had everything a house would and that is what it made it so homely. Our trip was strictly business, but my husband and I think it would be perfect to bring our kids along for the next time. Its spotlessly clean and comfy. I would recommend this place to anyone. I loved it. "

"Coming a long way from home this was the perfect place that we had chosen. The owner was prompt and made us feel really welcomed. He always made sure that we were okay. "I must say that I was really impressed with my stay. The place is well equipped. Everything was as is on the pictures. Everything we needed was present to our needs. "It was a great place to stay at for the weekend and Yunus/owner was very accommodating, phoned me and assured my booking and help me by guiding my way to the accommodation, no need to wait for the keys as he was already there awaiting our arrival, we had secured parking with a 24 hour security guard patrolling the area, so it was very safe, all in all its was great and will definitely be staying there again for my next trip to Durban, felt like a 5 star place to me hence my rating and for a great price!"

"We had a lovely stay. Firstly the owner called us while we were still on our way to ensure we do not get lost, that was the first time I experienced such warmth. He allowed us to check in earlier and also made us feel comfortable. He showed us the nearest mall and the way to the ICC for our event. The place is clean, safe and very beautiful. I will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends and family."
